A Week in the Life of KUFC #12

30/04/2024

Over the last week, this is everything that went on within our age groups:

Soccer School:

Led by coaches Dave, Den and Sarah, there were another couple of great soccer school sessions at Kinloss on Saturday morning. It’s always fantastic to see everyone and they all had a a very good runout.

Wildcats/Squad Girls:

The Wildcats and Squad Girls had their final session at Winifred Holtby on Wednesday night. This saw a total of 36 girls come along and the individual trophies were handed to Charley, Connie, Maisey and Daisy B.

U7:

The Piranhas had a great training session in midweek. All the boys had a very productive session and Sonny was handed the Trainer of the Week trophy.

U9:

Our Pearls were up against Chanterlands GFC on Saturday. It was a tough game for the girls, but they stuck together as a team and put in a big shift. Bella and Halle were the recipients of the POTM awards.

U10:

Braving an early kick-off time and some tricky weather conditions, the Avengers locked horns with Cottingham Rangers Yellows on Sunday. All the players deserved the MOTM award as they never gave up and battled hard.

U11:

On Tuesday night, our Shadows played Springhead FC. It was a close battle and saw the boys play some really good football. Blake picked up the MOTM trophy.

U12:

On Friday night, the Sharks were in futsal action and played a total of four games. They had excellent displays in all of their games and played some outstanding futsal. Well done boys and to Stan on picking up the MOTM award. The team then held a bucket collection at Hull City’s final home league game of the season on Saturday night and raised more funds for their football trip to Spain in October.
