United in the community.
United in improving physical and mental health.

About Kingswood United CIO

Kingswood United CIO believes in sport and community involvement for all, helping to overcome barriers such as poor mental-health, loneliness and anti-social behaviour whilst improving mental and physical fitness. Our aim is to ensure that children, young people and adults in the local area have the opportunity to participate in different sporting and community activities in a safe, supportive and welcoming environment.

Our charity also incorporates Kingswood United FC, with over 700 children and young people playing grassroots football every week.

We want to break down barriers so that as many people can come and take part in sporting, fitness and community sessions as possible. By engaging in these, we bring people together that wouldn't necessarily meet, creating new bonds across the area.

As well as all of this, we provide affordable CPD to local schools and childcare providers in the area with a focus on improving their physical and mental health. All of our sessions are locally based and are offered in small groups, giving participants time to discuss their own ideas and relate to children in their settings.
