KUFC Teams Summary #2

It’s been another productive week for our teams.

Here’s what happened:


The Wildcats announced that they’ll be participating in the Let Girls Play biggest EVER football session on Wednesday 6th March. If you bring a friend along, they’ll get their session for free and also receive a football. Each Wildcat who brings a friend will also receive a football as a thank you gift.


The Vipers concluded their pre-season campaign with a friendly against Costello Panthers on Sunday. They played some great football which included great runs on and off the ball and lots of chances created. Charlie and Bobby were handed MOTM trophies and we congratulate them and the entire team.


Our Lionesses played a couple of games on Saturday which saw them produce fantastic performances in both contests. It showed the positive progress that the team are making and their terrific work rate and endeavour. Congrats to POTM award winners Layla and Zoe.


The Lynxes undertook a sponsored walk across the Humber Bridge on Saturday to help raise funds. They all had a very enjoyable experience and massive congrats to the whole team. The following day, they played their final friendly game which was against Hall Road Rangers. All the boys did exceptionally well and passed the ball around brilliantly. Jabs picked up the MOTM award and congrats to him on receiving it.

The Pearls had an away game against AFC Preston on Saturday. They put in an excellent display and all of them worked hard. Well done to the team and also Harper and Halle on being named the POTM. Special mentions must also go to Scott Phillips and Waterloo Veterans who’ve donated some brand new and bright footballs to the team.

On Sunday, the Leopards returned to action after a long winter break as they locked horns with a very good Hedon side. Both teams put in outstanding performances and Archie took home the MOTM award.


Our Hotspurs faced Hornsea Reds in a well contested friendly on Sunday. Both sides showed lots of sheer grit and determination in strong performances. Well done to MOTM award winners Alfie and Max and the whole team.


The Storms group one team are currently looking for players to join their squad. They train on Wednesday nights from 7-8pm and play their games on Sundays. Your child must be in school year six and please contact Stu on 07827961231 for more information.


The Hornets played out a very entertaining encounter against Hessle Sporting Club on Sunday. It was a game where both sides played brilliant football and showed excellent endeavour. Thank you to the Hessle players, parents and coaches for ensuring the game was on.


Kingswood United Ladies took on Leven Ladies FC on Sunday afternoon. It resulted in a 2-3 defeat for the Ladies and they subsequently dropped into fourth place in the East Riding County Women’s League Division Two table.

Earlier in the week, it was announced that there’ll be a Second Ladies team within the club infrastructure from next season.
