KUFC Teams Summary #1

We’re always keen to show how all our teams are getting on and also celebrate their achievements.

This is what happened in the last week or so:

Soccer School:

On Tuesday night, the soccer school took place as usual at Winifred Holtby. It was another brilliant session and Thomas was the Trainer of the Week. Well done Thomas.

Wildcats/Squad Girls:

It was another productive session for both the Wildcats and Squad Girls teams at Winifred Holtby on Wednesday night. Everyone had a very enjoyable time and congrats to trophy winners Hollie, Charley, Poppy, Nevaeh and Esmae.

Our Piranhas had a couple of good training games on Saturday. They all enjoyed themselves and put in terrific performances. Congrats to MOTM award winner Henley who made some top saves, scored some great goals and produced crucial passes.

As their planned game was cancelled, our Leopards went along to Soccer Kings. They had a fantastic run about which helped them in their preparations for phase two. Top effort boys.

The Lynxes had a brilliant display on Sunday against Hessle Sporting. Their passing and movement was spot on and goalkeeper Iestyn was outstanding. Congrats to everyone and MOTM award winner Jabs.

The Krystals played a friendly away to Malet Lambert on Saturday and had a really competitive game in which they showcased some great football. Well done to the entire team and also Amelia & Tallulah who both picked up POTM trophies.

Our Hotspurs continued their warmup for phase two with a friendly against Cottingham Rangers Whites at Hull University on Sunday. The team put in a good performance and Bobby was awarded the MOTM trophy as he showed great skills, linked up well with his teammates and grabbed a deserved goal.

Meanwhile, the Panthers saw their game cancelled and took up the opportunity to have a fantastic fitness session. Big thanks to one of their sponsors City of Hull Sport & Community Group CIC for hosting them.

Our Sapphires participated in a game at Malet Lambert on Saturday. In which, they put in a hard fought display. Lucy and Maisie were named as the POTM and congrats to both of them.

The Hornets had their game cancelled, but they still played some football as they booked a pitch at Soccer Sensations. In which, they had a 90 minute game that pitted the dads against the lads and all involved had a very good laugh.

Kingswood United Ladies faced Hessle Rangers CIC Ladies at Sirius Academy on Sunday afternoon. They unfortunately suffered a 5-0 defeat and this leaves them sitting in third place in the East Riding County Women’s League Division Two table.
